Default Behringer vs Focusrite

I'm about to buy a preamp, I wanted to get the focusrite scarlett 3rd gen solo but its sold out at our local music store and to buy it from overboard costs a lot for the delivery, I just want to ask if there is a huge differance between behringer u-phoria umc202hd and focusrite scarlett 3rd gen solo?
should i go for the behringer?
Im just a hobby musician, but I have some ideas for some Indie songs that I would like to record.
Whats your take on this?

The Focusrite will be better quality. If it were me I'd go with that. I've been using a cheap M-Audio interface for years but a lot of musicians I know have a Focusrite. It's really the standard right now for home recording without breaking the bank.

Good luck out there, fellow weary home recorder.

I've got the Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen.
Maybe it's an alternative for you if it is not sold out too. It does not cost much more and you would have the opportunity to record something in stereo if you feel like it some day
