Hmm.. warm audio is a brand. If I remember correctly, they make a very popular copy of the Neumann U87, among other things. I don't think all their mics are warm sounding.

They have some popular preamps too.

Since you're starting out, I'd suggest a good dynamic microphone as your room probably isn't treated or properly isolated. You can also use that on live performances and guarantee at least your voice will sound good.
