What is the best video editing software for covers?

Need a program to sync audio and video.
What is recommended and not too complicated?

Try 'DaVinci Resolve' if you want a good piece of free editing software

I strongly second DaVinci Resolve. It has a bit of a learning curve but it's well worth it.

Apparently I can't post links here (yet) so you can search on YT for: RESOLVE 17 CRASH COURSE - Davinci Resolve 17 Walkthrough [BEGINNER] by Casey Faris

It's a really nice introduction to resolve, in my opinion.

Sorry to bring up this old topic, but when it comes to video editors, I highly recommend trying DaVinci Resolve. It's an excellent choice for syncing audio and video. Despite its powerful features, it's surprisingly easy to use and not overly complicated. Plus, a free version provides most of the tools you need. Try it, and you can create stunning cover videos in no time.

Just to add to the offer, I use KdenLive which is also free, and I've found it doesn't suck. It also has a "sync audio" option that works quite well.
