pedal for unique shoegazey tones?

im wondering if you guys have any suggestions about pedals for unique and obscure tones in shoegaze, dont just say slö.

im building a pedalboard and experimenting with different pedal chain combinations, but i feel like it sounds too bland and is missing something that stands out.

an example of a "unique" tone is to here knows when by mbv.

whether its distortion, fuzz, delay, reverb anything is fine im just looking into pedals that can create some unique tones.

any suggestions?
