Any piano players here?

I've been playing classical piano for about 10 years now, and jazz piano for about 3. It's THE best. *hugs piano*

I play piano. I play what I like most of the time. I just get melody sheets and play that. I usually play rootsy music: Tom Waits, Simon & Garfunkle, The Beatles.

The Beatles! *snogs Paul McCartney* Yesyes...it's always fun to play the Beatles. I love playing and singing along to 'Let It Be.' And of course 'Imagine'...which is one of the best songs of all time.

not very piano-y though, that was more so there would be music, not for the musicality. The words are all the strength in that song.

I play piano. I havn't been playing long, but it is pretty fun. I had the choice to stop, but I decided not to and I'm glad.

dosen't it seem like even if it was annoying while it lasted latter on in life you wish that you didn't quit. I can surley say the same for piano and tuba. It's easier to learn that stuff when your young, like scientificaly so.

I love the piano. Its a fascinating instrument. I'm completely self taught, and pretty good considering that fact. I can sit down in front of a piano for hours and just get totally wrapped up in all the possible chord inversions and voicings. I wish that I'd had lessons when I was young. Its definitely my favorite instrument, especially if you throw in electric pianos, Hammonds, and clavinets.

Definatly my story as well. Although I don't know if I'm the "pretty good" part. Its just alot of fun to sit down and mess around and see what comes out. I'm more of a guitar and bass player, but I can really enjoy any instrument. Anything I get my hands on I will attempt to play!

I stopped for about seven years, but last March I started taking again and love it more each day. It's never to late.
