Which is the better brand?!

Custom BC Richs kick ass, low end ones well pretty much suck. So i would say jackson.

Jim Root actually uses a custom Fender Tele and a Charvel...can't remember the model name

jim root uses a tele right now. but back in the days of iowa he used a jackson custom soloist. so i guess the correct thing to say would be jim root used a jackson. also in a filmclip for heretic anthem on conan o brien he used a PRS.

I have got to say that Jackson is, but that could also be based on a persons preference!!!There might be alot of people that like bc rich more, who knows?According to me and many other professional musicians, bc rich is far from Jackson in greatness!!!Jackson are almost like custom guitars in a way.They have many options of cool, interesting finishes as well as fretboards!!!They are one of the companies that has alot of 24 fret options for the wide base of guitarists that want to go up to 24 frets instead of stickin' to 22!!!Hell, Jackson guitars will normally come with 22 frets+, while many other brands carry that or less!!!:finger: Jacksons also have a great sound/tone to them!!!They are pretty much considered a shredders dream as far as guitars are concerned!!!I think they're great, but honestly-as I posted in another thread-I prefer a Gibson S.G. to any other brand/type of guitar!!!Gibson S.G.'s are the best, even while being put up with a Jackson that I also think is great!!!Your choice, my opinion.............Hope it helped!!!;)

i'd say bc rich. i own a BC Rich platinum series Ironbird custom. and i have NO complaints. its the best guitar ive ever played. the fretboard is rosewood, and it feels amazing. it stays intune pretty well even though i have a floyd rose and use it frequently. i say that no one should flat out dis a certain type of guitar. i think that every guitar sucks, and rocks in its own way. BC Rich is a METAL company. they make guitars for metal. jackson i think is more like... alt. or punk. so its all a matter of tastes

Jackson have better quality control and produce much better guitars at the low end.

BC Rich at the custom shop level are good guitars butyou can pretty much get better for less anywhere you choose in their range of guitars.

Jacksons custom shop is fantastic by the way, but they're VERY expensive and their waiting times are obscene.
