I think most peoples setup wouldnt make sense to other people or impress them since they are taylored to what you like. I would not expect anyone else to be wowed by what I use but after probably 200 different changes in every part of it that is what I found suits my playing the best. Of coarse in a year from now I could be using totally different stuff if my tastes or knowladge changes.

Would love to own one of those. I have a Jag Bass, and it's VERY comfortable to play. Stock p'ups in it?

Stock pickups are pretty amazing, I'm really not liking the bridge though, which will probably be swapped for a mastery bridge in the future.

DO you ever find yourself just holding your guitar for periods of time even if your not playing it. I always have it close or in my hands, just like the look and feel of it.

Alex I know you hold your tele close.

I have my jag on a stand less than a foot away from me. I love both, but the jag get's most of my attention though. As it is, I'm keeping that tele forever, it really means a lot to me.

I've actually slept with one of my guitars once. I woke up with fretface.

I bought this new Stereo recording microphone about a week ago. It's a Blue make, the Yeti model, really great for recording just about any situation be it guitar and vocals, a full band or recording track by track. It has four different recording settings (stereo, omnidirectional, bidirectional and cardiod)and a gain control right on it.

The quality is really great, and it has a zero latency mic input on it so you can hear everything in real time which is a very very nice convenience when recording. I am really happy with it!

^ It looks just like a Telefunken U-47

I have the same mic, use it for lots of things, sounds amazing for what it costs.
