Piano / Keyboard

Hi guys,

I have seen computer keyboards that have a piano attached to them, so that they can connect to a computer as if they were a real piano using software.

I have tried searching for these but I cannot find one, I'd really like one because I'm thinking of learning, I can then use software to mix and match sounds ya know?

Thanks alot
Ben.

yoooo

what ur looking for is a midi keyboard
but if want a key that can operate on its own w/o a comp then just buy a keyboard with a usb function yea and all/most piano learning programs can operate on that

Dude, thanks so much, but I already figured that a few weeks ago, and now I have a Creative Prodikeys PC-MIDI keyboard with piano keys, exactly what you said to get :-)

Thanks man

If I can get as good as composing stuff on piano as I can on guitar, there will be no problem:)

Do you use any particular pattern for composing music?

thebassistX 04-07-2006 01:39 PM

hmm it depends most o f the time the song is in my head then i chord it out and find the melodie then i write down the other stuff like guitar but sometimes if im bored ill just sit andplay w/e and it comes

you know?

Winter 04-08-2006 01:48 AM

Yeah I know, Bang the keys as much as you can:laughing:

Kidding, I know what you mean.

Do you know any software or websites that will display chords in diagrams?

Cheers man:beer:

recently i've gotten back into playing piano. I've been toying around with old pieces i used to play when i took lessons, but what i've been really enjoying is just trying to figure out the music to some of my favorite songs just by ear. it's a fun challenge to listen to a track, pick out the piano part and then figure out exactly whats going on.
