Well, I have a 50's Vintage style lead although it's made by Harmony. It's the first one that I got and it's my favorite because my mother gave it to me as a gift and it is special because of that fact. I know it's not a big name that the stars use, but I like it and the stars show off too much if you ask me.

does anyone play 12-string guitar here?

i play 6-string but I've always liked the sound of 12-string guitars... is it much different from a normal acoustic?

Yes, I mainly play drums, but I am also highly experienced with guitar.Occasionally I'll mess around with the bass too, but it's just not as inspiring/fun to me as groovin' on the drums or shreddin' on the guitar.

I want to learn how to play the electric

Alo 08-09-2006 04:49 PM

Guitar, though I'm not really good at it. But I enjoy playing, and I guess that's what really counts. :)

Do you play acoustic?

FailurexByxDesignerxJeans 08-09-2006 04:57 PM

no

Trauma 08-09-2006 06:51 PM

Well then you should just learn how to play the guitar first shouldn't you?

FailurexByxDesignerxJeans 08-09-2006 06:52 PM

um learning the electric is the same as learning the acoustic

How do you know if you haven't learned yet?

;)

FailurexByxDesignerxJeans 08-09-2006 07:01 PM

thats what ive been told. But I just prefer the electric. The sound.

Trauma 08-09-2006 08:22 PM

If I were you I'd start on acoustic, it's like learning piano, don't start off on a keyboard.
Better to learn chords, melody, and rhythm than make a fool of yourself trying to sound cool when you first start.

FailurexByxDesignerxJeans 08-10-2006 10:35 AM

oh okay, thanx

I can't play any instruments.. even tho I'd really like to.
So I just use my vocals... which isn't half bad.. but I wish it were better.
