Your Most Desired....?

Okay, for all you instrument players, barring money and whatnot, what kind of setup do you want? Forget your salary (if applicable) and other circumstances. Maybe pick your favourite (not just picking the most expensive for no reason).

If you're not a musician, maybe name what instrument you wanna learn and your ideal setup.

I'll start.

I'm an aspiring bassist, new to it, and not a natural talent, which sucks. I've got a generic bass right now on loan, since I'm a newbie, but my dream bass to own is: Rickenbacker 4003 Fretless

I love the color and Rickenbacker in general.

yah id like a kinda double bass sort of the same as the guy from Neckromantix uses

I love Mandolins, always wanted one.

I wish I could play Guitar. I'd never commit enough to it though so it's unlikely to happen.

I would love to wail like Homme.

I want a fretless banjo.

All you need is some practice, Homme dosen't really play anything that can't be learned in less than a year of practice.

I want a metallic blue 1964 Mosrite Joe Maphis Double Neck 12 & 6 String Guitar

I'd love to have a chapman stick.

Probably the ugliest looking instrument ever, but it has a fantastic sound, too bad they're incredibly expensive.

Always wanted a PRS.
Anyone have one?

Edit: Ok I know...they cost a fortune! Anyone ever tested/played one?
I keep meaning to try one out in town...never got round to it.

Nice.^

Mines atm is a $400 DXP kit:P

^I played an $1800 dollar PRS, and I guess it was a "low end" PRS because it was trash.

as for my ultimate setup:

Ibanez RGA121

Peavey 5150

Krank "Distortus Maximus"

Add a wireless system and a guitar strap and I'm set.

Musicman stingray bass and a nice mesaboogie stack and i'd be set for life.

Anyways, I'm just upgrading my kit at the moment, it now has a pair of Zildjian hi hats (Really good sounding) and a Ziljian K Custm Ride Cymbal (Once again, sounds awesome). I'm now Looking for a new crash and if I ad sufficient money... I'd get another 2 Zildjian crashes (Yes I love Zildjian), Double kick pedal, A fairly decent hi hat stand. I'd also upgrade allmy drums, put good skins on them and buy a ****load of sticks.

^ he's got a point, i've tried using the bastard things and it's just plain weird, if i were a drummer....or a good one anyway i'd probably want a tama kit, just because they're stunning to play.

I've got a K Custom Dark Ride too, and K Custom hi-hats as well. And I have remo heads and Acquarian for my bass drum, but I haven't upgraded my kit in a long time.
