Anyone else play?

That's just an example of my sloppy playing on my cheap (but beloved) mandolin!

I play mandolin sometimes. I'm not very good, but oh well.

Used to play in grammar school. The only instrument I ever played...:laughing:

I have a friend who plays the violin. He picked up the mandolin and could play it almost as well as he played the violin. Apparently they have the same tuning so it is very easy to switch between instruments. Just wanted to throw out some information.

I would love to play me a Mandolin. But you see the frets are so small. I have fat fingers. :(

I play Mando - a great little instrument!

Boo Boo - I have little fat fingers too, (been described as "a bunch of wriggling maggots").
My main instrument is bass, and I've learned to adjust my technique to suit the instrument I'm playing.
Give it a go - it's worth it!
