Electronic wind instrument (ewi)
 

i was wondering if anyones ever played/seen an ewi, or and electronic wind instrument. i was also wondering if it could be fingered like a flute.

I'm pretty sure they dont exist people usually just put a pickup on their wind instrument

They exist, I searched them on google. Anyway, I think the difference is you can change the sound, and, I'm guessing the fingering would be the same, 'cause you never see any ewi lessons.

... i imagine it would be a pain in the ass to play the flute with a cord coming out of it.. and the wieght of hte cord would be hard to balance out
