Alvarez Guitars?

Okay so I have an Ibanez RG370 Electric and some old ****ty pawn shop acoustic lovingly named "Lovestain" because when I bought it it had- well- I think you get where this is going.

The guitar has been broken in half and fixed, basically everything has been broken and fixed, and I'm to the point to where I'm just going to go buy another.

I really love Marshall Acoustics, but my wallet can't afford a sucker punch to the go-nuts that I would withstand if I were to purchase one.

I really like the way Alvarez Guitars look, but haven't ever played one in real life. I especially like the way the Dao Wood looks on certain models.

Anyone own any Alvarez Guitars, and what do you think of them? Cost vs. Quality?

If not that guitar, what would you recommend? Hoping to not spend more than $600.
