Need advice on some new Pickups...?

Well currently I own a Samick Royal 2.

I love the guitar, considering I didn't pay much for it slightly used. Its in factory condition with no changed parts. I am not sure on what pickups I should get to replace the below average ones currently on there.

Any advice, links, examples, would be great.

Some duncan 59's would be cool.

Do they come in silver. Iv only seen them in white or black.

I think you just need to put a pickup cover on or somat
Pretty sure they do

I would reccomend something a little less generic for a guitar like that. A set of the Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF's would sound great in that, with great sparkle and note definition.

On the other hand, try A bluesbucker in the neck and perhaps a Norton or Air norton in the bridge.

If you really want the generic rock tone, a 59' is a great choice, but in my opinion its always been a jack of all trades master of none. It has no 'specialness' to my ears. All these pickups are Dimarzio btw, except the 59, which is a seymour duncan.

As for silver, you can order most dimarzio pickups with covers for a small upcharge, or you can simply use seperate covers.

I do like the Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF's a lot. How much would those run me?

Same as any other set of dimarzio's, IIRC. They're a little hard to get hold of though. Get your dealer to order them in for you. The bonus with these is they're made to be used with either a vintage aged cover, or a nickel cover that was specially made to be less magnetic, so you should get great performance with covers.
