Default Best Piano

I'm thinking of purchasing a electric piano because i'm getting lessons and also for songwriting purposes.Any recommendations for an affordable one? Is a regular piano better?

I have the Cakewalk studio instruments which includes an Electric Piano. Can I use that or is it nothing lol?

Depends on what kind of music you plan to be playing and how intense you are going to be about it. If you really want to learn to play the right way, you should definetly learn on a real piano. But if you are not going to be that intense about playing an electric piano would be find. I have a casio electric piano but it sucks a lot, I can't even begin to describe my hatred for it or come up with a reason why I ever bought it in the first place. But anyways, I don't know much about electric pianos but I think Roland and Yamaha are the best.
