Default Celtic Music - Need a low D pennywhistle

Hey guys, currently working on learning the pennywhistle for some some Celtic music and such.

As of now, I have two standard D tuning ones - a practice one that was cheap and a nicer one I record with.

I'm looking to buy a low D one, and I was wondering if anyone has ever heard anything about (from a reliable source) or knows anything themselves of Mid-East Manufacturing.

They have relatively cheap ones there and I'll most likely buy from them unless there's some underlying reason for this.

Thanks,
K

I've tried, the only reviews of them come from Amazon.com

And none of those reviews are for the Irish Whistles

I'm probably gonna assume the price is too good to be true (47 dollars for Low D, which usually run 120-200) and just buy from a local vendor

i'm inclined to agree. if they're selling them for about 1/3rd of the price then they're likely refurbishing the instruments or selling no-name copies.
