Cheap acoustic
I'm looking for a cheap but nice acoustic guitar. Anybody have one? post pictures price and other information on it.... THANKS!

There are plenty of new, cheap acoustics you can get in stores and on places like eBay, but an olden, broken in guitar sounds infinitely better regardless of its quality.
I play an old beat up Yamaha that was a budget acoustic back in the day, and it sounds very warm and full, instead of overly-bright and tinny sounding new acoustic. |
I own THIS one. It plays very nice, has an on board tuner and a sweet pickup. I feel for an acoustic once you start getting into the $300 and up range, you start to see some quality in the instrument. You have to be careful with the real cheap ones as I've known people who have had pretty bad experiences with them. Best bet is to just go to a music store and ask to see all the acoustics in your price range, play them, take note of the ones you really like and then go online to read some reviews about them. Getting an extended warranty wouldn't be such a bad idea either.

I have a 1964 Kay, and its been perfect since it was handed down to me about 8 years ago. I definitely prefer the sound of a broken in guitar, but hey, nothing wrong with breaking one in yourself. I use the website musiciansfriend.com for all my needs, though I do head down to the music stores around my area to test out any equipment I want to buy. Musician's Friend has an amazing variety of all types of equipment, at prices that fit my measly budget. Worth looking at for an acoustic. :p

I have this:
http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbas...0/1/231101.jpg It's an Ibanez AEL20E Acoustic-Electric. Plays very well and the action is perfect right out of the box. The pickup is a Fishman Sonicore and it sounds great plugged in. Has onboard 3-band EQ and a presence control. Plus a tuner. Check out the reviews: AEL20E at Musiciansfriend |

I'm looking to pay from $50-$150 maybe $200

Cory... save an extra $150 bucks and check out one of the Ibanez acoustics. There's no rush when it comes to purchasing an instrument.
