Questions for Screamers

I been messing around with it, i beleive what i have is to be a falsechord scream. but the problem is with it, it sounds weird. like it sounds like a gremlin almsot. my friends said it sounds cool but idk. And i dont have to scream to do it. i can talk in a normal tone of voice. but obviously when i apply pressure it sounds more like rawr. so am i doing it right or is this totally wrong if it sounds like a gremlin? lol

How throaty is it? You might be almost on to it, but you need to push from the stomach to make it more full.

what do u mean throaty? like it doesnt hurt to do, just gets my throat a lil scratchy. if i add more pressure it just sounds the same. well not when i talk like it. if my parents leave ill make a youtube video to post.

lolz @ the parents.

quit making so many pointless threads btw.

Now, like the Unfan stated. Screaming needs to come from your gut. Therefore you are going to generate most of your screaming power from your abdomen (ever see screamers holding their side or stomach) well thats why. Just focus more on your power level until you get it where you want it, try to get it consistent and then perfect your sound.

Anosa... if you have to wait for your parents to leave for them to not hear you screaming, then you're doing the scream wrong.
You should be able to scream at speaking decibels, and still have it sounding full on. Work on your textures. It takes a good, wet throat to experiment with them. Drink some OJ and practice.

I disagree. Growling/Screaming should be about the same as a loud laugh. I use mostly my throat when screaming, and my abdomen when growling. You could try just doing a recording in Audacity or a similar program, and then uploading it to 4shared.
