I concur. For the longest time, I refused to pay any attention at all to telecasters. One day, I finally decided to try one and was blown away. I wouldn't mind owning one, myself.

It has many many switches :P

It also has cool pickups, and I've been GASing for a fender type neck to have around for a while now. Seeing as I hate standard strats and I don't get on with telecasters at all, on top of jags just flat out looking cool, I see no reasn not to want one.

Try finding one of the Fender reissue necks. There spaced just like the old ones, and play like a dream with the nitro finish.
