Its really fun. I have a wah pedal, 4 distortion/overdrives, a delay, a combo flanger/chorus, phaser and a tremolo. Its uber unnecessary but I love experimenting. Its also awesome when you try to play songs from bands like Radiohead, the Police or even simple things like the Rooster from Alice in Chains , it adds a small part but makes it fun!

I usually check out the gear articles and feature articles in Guitar Player
