Guitar Tunings

Have a set of guitar tunings that create some very interesting sounds?? Lets share them here!

Here's mine to start with:

D
G
C#
F
C
F

With this tuning, try the chord fingerings for: G, D, E, C, Aminor for some interesting sounds

Anyone else?

My guess is that it's high to low because of the octave strings, that always sounds nicer in a lower pitch. I could be wrong though.

Here's one that I made, it sounds somewhat melancholy and is fantastic for slide work, low to high:
C#
G#
E
E
A
C#

EDIT: looking more closely at the tuning, it could easily be from low to high due to the closeness of the strings pitches to that of standard tuning.

Interesting combination of Es in the middle, are they tuned to the same octave? C#-G# is the same interval as dropped-D just a half step down but then you tune the D string up which just throws everything for a loop hehe

Yeah, the E's are at the same pitch. It makes a really nice ringy sound when they're both plucked. Again, a very nice tuning for slide.

Most of them are pretty common actually (a bunch of them are just Nick Drake tunings... ), but I suggest GGDGBD, DADF#AD and CGCGCE specifically for the coolest sounds

Edit: to clarify, the notes that are the same (i.e. GGDGBD) are in the same octave
