Marshall MG15CFX Thoughts and Opinions Alternatives
 

I'm moving up from my fragile Line 6 Spider IV 30 Watt

I'm looking for something durable which I can play out doors. Marshall has a good name to it and I value the durability, distortion and clean setting. I'm looking at the:

MG15CFX

It has pedal foot options, which I have never used. It also has MP3 Options to play back track music, which I have used.

Is this Marshall durable for outdoors and small gigs?
Clean with reverb is it defined clearly?
Distortion is it stronger than the Insane setting on Line 6?
Good or bad experience some cost effective alternatives?

Also, I lived in England for some time and I haven't heard the term, "bloody," ever used. So, I don't think you are English.

It's not bad to be who we are there is nothing wrong with being ourselves. So, if you don't like my question--all are valid--than ignore them. I do read reviews but I want to hear what more experienced musicians are thinking about guitar

I've never liked the MG series, and I've heard a lot of other musicians complain about their sound quality and durability. I used an MG30 at home because my larger Peavey amp was too heavy to travel with on a bus but I absolutely hated the thing. Considering you're moving up from the Line 6 series I would highly recommend looking at getting a tube amp, or at the very least one of those hybrid tube/ solid states like the Vox Valvetronix if money is an issue.

Are you trolling? You're a total newbie and every regular here knows I'm from Manchester. If you have lots of questions put them in one thread, like any sane person in the history of mankind.

IMO going from solid state Line 6 to solid state Marshall is a sideways move as opposed to a move up. I'd move to a tube amp, you WON'T go back.
