New Guy,New Guitar
 

hey everyone! I just joined up today,it's been a while since i've been on a forum.The last one I was a member with folded a couple of years ago,so here I am ready to b.s. about everything and anything.I build the odd solid body (bolt on necks) just finished a Tele I buy blanks from Stew Mac and get my buddy Tony to do magic with his CNC machine.It's amazing how that machine does it's work (punch in a few things on the keyboard and watch in amazment)!He charged me 24 beers for the Tele job.Any way I mentioned a new guitar,well its not new, but it is new to me,It's an old Hondo Flying V 768( Photos soon). I picked it up from a guy who had it on kijiji,for $75. It needed an input jack,rear cover and new strings,I will probably keep it cause it sounds pretty flippin awsome with the skunk DiMarzios through my Fender twin,and has some real nice figuring on the Top.I did'nt do much research,,does anyone know if this is a maple top,or what type of wood its made from ?
