Forearm Workout

What instrument would you guess requires the most amount of forearm strength? I’m assuming its Bass, but I’d like to see if anyone disagrees.

Its a muscle group that’s a pain to actually workout and I thought, rather than squeeze a stupid ball for hours on end, I’ll take lessons in instrument X and pick up a new skill.
Thoughts?

Buy a 12 string and play an F chord for about 20 minutes. You'll have Popeye forearms in no time.

You'd be surprised how much your arm burns after playing violin for 2 hours. Try that!

Are you going to play righty and lefty?

Even if playing bass did that, you would really only be working out one arm. I can't think of any other instrument besides a stringed one that would target that specific muscle...

Besides who cares about forearms? Unless you want those veins poppin out or something...I can't say I've ever met anyone thoroughly impressed by a solid forearm.
