Matched grip VS Traditional?

I'm learning to play marching snare and I actually find traditional easier. I can't do a damn thing with matched.

What about you?

I could never do traditional grip. It just doesn't work with me.

i'm right-handed, and generally i play match, but sometimes i bring my right hand to a traditional to give it a break, or to allow more room for my left to move around under it while playing the ride. i know that's a very non-traditional way to play traditional, but i've been doing since i was 11 and it works.

I try matched from time to time, but my left hand always ends up playing buzzes...

I actually find traditional to be easier for both marching and drum set. I have so much more control that way.

To each his own man. Traditional is a dying art so if you can keep it up. By all Means please please do!
