Default My Flute Meanderings.

I thought this section would be the best place for this thread.

I have shared recordings of me playing the flute in other places on MB, but I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate them into one thread. I welcome comments from you and also questions about the flute in general.

First up, a new piece that I only got today. The Gigue movement from Sonata in G Major by Jean-Baptiste Loeillet, one of my favourite Baroque composers.

Nice thread name

Very cool, BD - how long have you been playing flute?

I love Adagio, too!

Here's two more that are a little older, and I think I may redo them at some point.

The Alla Breve movement from Handel's Flute Sonata VI

And the last Allegro movement from Sonata VII

Helloooou I'm listening! Very nice BD. I would love to hear something slow and dramatic, too!

Nice job on the Handel (VII), it sounds like a tough one.

Have you done the "Dance of the Blessed Spirits" by Gluck? Lovely piece for flute.

Yeah definitely I can prepare something for you. I am totally open to requests as long as I can get the sheet music for it.
