novice musicians

hi im an intermediate level bass player, i was just wanted to start a thread for anyone who was still learning and wanted to talk to others for advice or whatever,

Anyone want to share their practice routine?

i used to be a bit inconsistent in my picking, iv reduced the excessive movement i used to have, and ive starting picking less hard, iv just about sorted my problem out

I pretty much just play with my band and thats how I pratice. I will occasionly sit down and write a song on the bass, but I usually just use my acoustic guitar for that. Its harder to write stuff on the bass when you are by yourself, therefore I just write while in the band context.

i just play my guitar at home and made up riffs there, then when the band practices i show it to the rest of them and we make a song out of it.

hey nah--
Well i'm a musician as well- i like 2 play the keyboard- but your instrument is very interesting, cause even on my keyboard i love the sound of Bass-n-fact, most of my tracks include bass or strings before i completely get lost in it and make a masterpiece.
i write as well and perform-Big Goals ahead ya know.
