High stringing a guitar

Does anyone know if it's possible to string only the octave up strings from a 12 string set on a normal, 6-string guitar? Would I need to get special tuners or something like that?

I got the idea from "Nashville" tuning... I'm anything but a professional I just like ****ing around and hearing what happens. But with Nashville tuning it's only the top 4 strings, not the bottom E and B strings.s

Oh yeah and I'm trying to do this on a Mustang... will I need to block my whammy bar or will it still work?

With the title of this thread, and the guy who made it, I thought this would be an entirely different discussion.

that's....
somewhat fair

but honestly what the hell else could this be about??

u crazy.

I wouldn't recommend it, the lack of tension that you have with the deeper strings would be really bad for your neck and truss rod.

Also my mind went to the same place that Batlord's did on the title.

Have you ever gone back and read your posts when you were sober? Cause you totally are.

You know that thing that other people are when they're shielding their children from you? That.
