What's your favorite instrument?

Mine is the piano.

Moren rabada 12-17-2015 02:21 AM

I love guitar mostly.

Cil 12-17-2015 09:39 AM

What kind of guitar do you play?

susu 12-18-2015 01:20 PM

I like Zheng and Xiao very much. I like classical musical Instruments

1so-static 12-27-2015 02:47 PM

I play guitars and synths mostly --but a Fav instrument would have to be the earthquake presence and majesty that comes from a cathedral organ

Zhanteimi 12-27-2015 03:17 PM

You mean to play? Acoustic guitar.

AltanMongol 12-28-2015 05:04 PM

My favorite is for sure morin khuur.

susu 01-03-2016 02:19 PM

Today, I realized that Bamboo Flute is my favorite too

Stephen 01-03-2016 07:47 PM

Top of my wish list would probably be vibraphone followed by a grand piano and a bass clarinet.

SilverFlute 01-04-2016 12:42 PM

I would love to play the saxophone but for now my favourite is the guitar.

mr.mick 01-18-2016 06:48 PM

guitar.

i've been playing since i was a little fella but it never ceases to amaze me what original, inventive, creative, innovative stuff people can do with it. i mean c'mon, firstly it has 6 strings, but not only that, it has over 84 frets! and not only do you have to push down on several frets at once, but you have to be coordinated enough strum or pick with the other hand! i know it becomes second-nature (and i don't often feel this awed by it) but when you think about it it's a really amazing instrument and talent to have...

The guitar. I grew up playing the piano and do love it but just feel I can express myself more through the guitar, that and the fact that I just find it more enjoyable to play.

I play the acoustic guitar so it is my favorite. I love how it sounds, how it feels when I strum, how the wood reveberates and I can feel it, how versitile it is, and it simply looks great.

My sister plays the piano so I have to like that otherwise it would drive me insane.
I really how the Oboe sounds.
I used to play violin in 2nd grade for only that year, but I want to get back into it.

Kino 01-28-2016 08:30 PM

Acoustic guitar hands down!

Mister Mushroom 01-29-2016 02:41 PM

Out of the ones I can play: Guitar

Out of the ones I wish I could play: Either the Violin or the Sitar.

Sitars are so damned expensive, though.

Been playing guitar since 13. Forty two years of rock, blues, classical, fusion, prog, and everything else under the sun.

Got the MM Petrucci today and was immediately reminded why I hated myself for selling the last one about 6-7 years ago. This baby is going to kick start me playing more for sure. I need to get my chops back up to speed.

Congratulations on that score! I've been jonesing for a MM JP forever, just great guitars. My old roommate is in town for the weekend and stopped by before he went to visit his family and is letting me babysit his new MM Steve Morse Y2-D until tomorrow, I put about 2 hours in on it earlier and really dig it, the p-up configuration is a bit of a trip with a single coil right above the bridge, the neck is sweet and it is a really nice axe.

Made in USA Music Mans may be the best bang for the buck going. The gunstock oiled necks are ridiculous.

Beatbyheart 01-30-2016 02:46 AM

mostly electronic but piano guitar and drums.

Snowless 02-01-2016 07:39 AM

Acoustic guitar, definately.
