Electric strings on acoustic guitar?
 
hey guys, I just wondered if I can put my electric strings (that's what's written on them) on my acoustic guitar. will it be ok?

I wouldn't recommend it as the tension is so different. There won't be enough tension in the strings to set off the top of the guitar, so the sound will be pretty bad. Also acoustic guitars are designed with a certain amount of tension in mind, too much above or below that for an extended period of time may do your guitar harm.
