MIDI guitar

Hey guys, I'm not too familiar with this MIDI thing, are those guitar who were built differently or can I install it on my guitar?

The cheapest thing you can use is the Sonuus G2M. I have one and it is a blast. You can only play monophonically but that is fine for what I use it for. I love hooking it up to an old Yamaha keyboard and then jamming out on saxophone or trumpet samples. With the Sonuus you don't need a special pickup.

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a protocol that allows electronic musical instruments, computers, and other devices to communicate and synchronize with each other. It doesn't involve physically modifying your guitar but rather using external devices to interface with it.

To connect your guitar to MIDI devices, you can use a MIDI pickup or a MIDI converter. A MIDI pickup is a device that attaches to your guitar and detects the vibrations of the strings, converting them into MIDI data. A MIDI converter is an external device that converts the audio signal from your guitar into MIDI data.

Once you have a MIDI setup, you can use your guitar to control MIDI-compatible devices such as synthesizers, samplers, and software instruments. This allows you to expand your sonic capabilities and create a wide range of sounds beyond what is possible with a traditional guitar setup.
