help with solo career
 

Hello, I would like to know how a person who would like to start a solo career can hire musicians to play as a support band.

Also, make some friends with talent = Profit?

But if I got some friends, it would be a band and not a solo career.

And how would I convince friends to be just a support band? Who is starting does how? Do they pay a certain percentage of the gig or pay a fixed amount?

You're going to have to figure this out even if you're not friends with the people that you hire. Go find some soulless bandkids at a college to perform your music for you.

Well, I don't know about that. You're going to have to pay musicians a fair rate if you want people to play for you. It's like any other service. That's why I told you to make some friends so you wouldn't have to pay them.

It's also where you'll find the most session musicians because band kids don't actually care about creativity or emotion or any of the stuff that makes music great.

Craigslist. Facebook I believe has a service similar to Craigslist.
