Which timber do you have/like in a guitar? What wood is your neck? My PRS is mahogany with a rosewood neck. I like the mahogany body and the rosewood is nice but I prefer maple necks for same strange reason.

I have a Washburn D10 acoustic - solid spruce top with rosewood fingerboard.
If I had the money Id part- ex for a gibson.
And a ballsy Yamaha SG 2000 - 3 piece maple top with a 3 piece mahogany/maple/mahogany neck which apparently improves sustain...which it does.
