Am I barking up the wrong tree?
 

1. PC latency makes me look away from that as a core device.
2. I'm using several controllers which have no soundbanks.
3. I don't particularly want a keyboard cluttering up the place uselessly.
4. I do want to be able to add my own soundbanks and samples.

Therefore: what sound modules these days have spare or replacable soundbanks are around these days? Sort of like the Roland SC-88 Pro, please?
