Something in the Way is not even close to being a throwaway song.

(i'm not a fan of Something In The Way, I feel it's very repetitve)
Why are you listening to Nirvana then?

Bleach had songs like Love Buzz, About A Girl and Big Cheese that were just without a doubt great songs,

It also had and I feel Bleach was MUCh more consistent than Nevermind was.
Whateva.

I actually do like it, but its kinda obvious that its a filler track.

I'd say that about half the tracks on that album to be honest.

I have to be honest here; I love Something In The Way, and without that track, I'd have sold my copy a long time ago.

Ok, well. The reason i said Bleach was better was because it was true "Grunge" that album WAS the sound that was being made at that time, they played heavier in it too. Incesticide was the punky B-side album, Nevermind was the pop rock album that would rise them into the mainstream and In Utero was a more mellow vibe. It just seemed tehy kinda expermiented ont he sound they were making. Just listening to the albums, that's what I heard.

Why do I listen to Nirvana? Because I like thei songs, just because I said I'm not too keen on one song doesn't mean I should stop listening to them.

Alot of albums have filler songs, Just Bleach was real in the sense they were just playing for the enjoyment. What we would consider a filler song, maybe to them was a top notch track.

lets try this again nirvana=crappy band.
ok now heres one i think is way overrated and again you probably will think me crazy but metallica IMO is way over rated...

Neither Nirvana nor Metallica are bad bands, but they are both vastly overrated. They get way too much credit. I suppose Metallica earned most of their's though.
