Might Change Our Band Name

We might change our band name. The current one is okay but we have come up with some that we might want to change to. Just getting a second opinion of either change to a new one or keep the same name so please just choose what name you like best not knowing which is the current and which are the new ones.
thanks

Band names mean nothing. Name it ABC, and if the music's good people will still listen to it.

Srsly....

mr dave 05-02-2008 08:22 AM

you don't need a band name until you have a gig. until then it doesn't matter AT ALL.

although - the ultimate doom - would be a freaking sweet band name

tkpb938 05-02-2008 08:41 AM

Its already a video game^ :(

mr dave 05-02-2008 08:46 AM

you don't say.... :p:

pretty sure you'd still be able to get away with it on a small scale though. or just call it TUD for short.

if everyone that replied would also please remember to vote in the poll it would be appreciated

Miltamec Soundsquinaez 05-03-2008 03:35 PM

I voted for Break The Hypocrisy. To be honest, all the names sound a little cheesy to me, but that name could be cool, if your band had like, a political message, or something.

we're not political but we base our music off of what we see and our community is full of 'catholics' who dont really follow their faith but still preach it to everyone else

Whatsitoosit 05-06-2008 02:26 PM

What is the present name of the band?

I chose "Glory to break" because it doesn't send any specific messages which can either limit a bands material or send the wrong message to potential fans.

matter of fact I'm going to steal the name, thanks for the heads up.

Maybe. I remember hearing some guy say Chrissy Hynde suggested it in her early punk days and wikipedia says she was with The Damned early on.

I voted for Glory to Break by the way.

joderu95 05-06-2008 04:06 PM

That's right. I probably would not have ever remembered that. That was a good little documentary.

kornliaslumpicas 05-06-2008 10:29 PM

Good Day To Own A Firearm

tkpb938 05-06-2008 10:55 PM

You guys sound tight (not perfect but close to it). After your songs are complete, and you guys are happy with them, get some studio time and have these songs recorded professionally.

Good job.
