Hip Hop Poll: Round 1, Poll A
public enemy y0
Public Enemy indeed.
Two awesome Doseone acts, but as much as I love Subtle, especially For Hero: For Fool, I'm going to have to go with Deep Puddle Dynamics. They only made one album together but it's one of the first and greatest things to come out of the label.
As much as I like Public Enemy, I couldn't vote against Deep Puddle Dynamics. One of my favorite DoseOne projects, for sure.
PE, although Blackalicious arn't far behind.
Well, this poll fails because too many members here aren't familiar enough with Freestyle Fellowship.
Blackalicious.
Freestyle Fellowship. I was gonna say Blackalicious or DPD, but FF wins in my book. Great catalog, Myka Nine is the ****. Etc etc.
Public Enemy ranks last here in my opinion. Surprised to see it winning, but I guess I shouldn't be. |
Deep Puddle Dynamics
Public Enemy may be more important but preferencwise for me its gotta be the FF. Inner City Griots is a West Coast classic.

very true....I learned a long time ago not to make assumptions on anything
I feel bad because i've only listened to Deep Puddle Dynamics and Public Enemy. Maybe I voted wrong.:(

Yes, when I voted, I was the only vote for Freestyle Fellowship. I posted a topic about them a while back which got like, no responses. Same goes with a topic I posted about Aceyalone. That, and they are one of the most slept on hip hop groups of all-time. Okay, my assumption was wrong; however, it was a fair one. |
PE, had to be
Public Enemy wins. Surprise!
