I have to go with the classics on this one. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five even though Black Star is a close runner up in my books.

Black Star, but I was thinking Sole as well... Although Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five deserve some love as well.

Damn, I love Blackstar but I can't vote against my man Sole.

Voted Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five. Three decades after the fact and they still sound great, plus it's pretty hard to beat their level of influence on hip hop.

Why is Blackstar in here, isn't Mos Def a candidate too?

Illmatic just might be the greatest debut album in hip hop history.

I've always thought of Nas as extremely overrated.

Mos Def and Talib Kweli are in the polls as individuals also.

I see Abearmauledme's point though.... Wu-Tang was split up into individual components, but here we have Blackstar AND Mos Def/Talib Kweli's solo stuff. Shouldn't Wu-Tang be included? Or Blackstar excluded?

Wu-Tang Clan is included they are set up to be in a poll later on.
