Hip Hop Poll: Round 3, A Tribe Called Quest Vs. Aesop Rock
 

It's about to get ugly ladies and germs. It's down to the Vs. parts.

I'm going with Quest on this one. You guys know my opinion on Aesop Rock already so not going to bore you with that.

Feel free to discuss who you voted on and why.

Very tough choice but I'm voting Tribe. For their time I'd say they were more innovative and when I really think about it I'd say they probably just flat out have more songs that I like.

As much as I appreciate aesop, I just don't enjoy listening to his music nearly as much as I do ATCQ.

I went with Aesop on this one, I just don't listen to enough Tribe to vote them over him.

Aesop.

Aesop for me. Tribe is awesome but there's something about his music that always catches me.

Going with Tribe. I should probably listen to more of each, I only really started listening to Aesop because of recommendations from MB members. Straight up, Tribe has more songs that I've enjoyed listening to. More laid back I guess which I like.

Aesop Rock for me.
I enjoy his music, as a whole, more than I enjoy Tribe.

To be fair, though, I really do enjoy me some tribe. I just find myself listening to Aes Rock more.

I think one thing that puts Tribe over the edge for me is their awesome beats

I enjoy both. But Tribe fits the mood more often that Aesop. I feel like I can only take so much Aesop within a period of time, whereas I could shuffle some Tribe all day long and not get annoyed.
