There's a lot of people here with a lot of musical knowledge.

I've been using last.fm properly for the first time since last summer and almost every time I've discovered a new band I've been able to find a thread about them with some useful stuff about the best tracks and the best albums.

There's a few music snobs around but I'd expect that on any music forum. Generally there's a lot less of the 'i hate rap lol' sort of thing that you find elsewhere.

The people who post things like 'BRITNEE SUCKS!!!' don't seem to last very long. Fantastic.

There's more emphasis on music here than I've found on other music-based forums... a lot of regulars tend to stick to the chat sections on other sites.

The users are actually up for a debate. Makes a change.
