In Rant What the fuck	Entry Tools

Blogs. Fcking Blogs. Why the fck would anyone want to read about what you think, do or whatever. I've always hated blogs but suddenly feel compelled to put some sh*t down in writing - whether anyone cares to read it - who knows? I've recently realised that I'm old. It happened all of a sudden and I can't work out why it bothers me - it just does. I think I thought I'd just carry on as I'd always done through my teens and twenties without really giving much thought to the changes taking place around me and too me. Now, all of a sudden I hear a track on the radio and realise that it's not from 'just a few years ago' it's from twenty bloody years ago. I've also realised that my fashion sense appears to be firmly wedged in the early 90s surf scene and that my body can't absorb a large number of Danish Pastries and get away with it anymore. What's more daunting is that everyone has now started to remind me that I'm going to be 40 this year. Bloody 40. Everyone makes such a big deal out of it. Typical scenario amongst other people I know of a similar age: "What are you doing for your fortieth?", "really?" "I'm abseiling down Mt Kilamanjaro while wearing a pair of pink crotchless pants". I can honestly say that I've got no desire at the moment to partake in such hullabaloo - I don't want to be 40, nevermind celebrating it in the wankiest style possible. Anyway, enough talking crap for now - I'll see how things pan out...
