a song about wanting to say somthing to somone important to you but not having the courage to say so. Read my mind If you could read my mind You would know How I feel tonight We’ve been packed together for an hour now But its all about timing It has to be perfect She doesn’t feel the same If only she could read my mind Its getting late The party is drawing to a close She’s not going to hang around for ever The question must be asked You know it Yet it cant be done But its all about timing It has to be perfect She doesn’t feel the same If only she could read my mind She’s outside alone Her lift is going to be here soon This is your last chance If you don’t take the plunge she’s Gone forever She cant read my mind I just have to say what I feel It should be easy but its not If only I knew how she feels But I cant read her mind
