There's counselors now that specialize in trans kids and that is one of their roles.

Kids shouldn't be allowed to make a decision like that til they are an adult capable of making intelligent decisions. It's the same logic behind drinking ages and everything else with age restrictions. Plus childhood, especially those teenage years, are really confusing and frustrating. It's a decision that should be made by an adult. Not a child.

Hormone therapy really really sucks as an adult. The best outcome has been shown to be for hormone therapy started before puberty.

Yeah. So what though? I mean if I did the things I wanted to do as teenager I'd have dick tattoos, and tats of several girls I haven't spoken too in years. I'd have done a lot more dumber **** than I already have done if it wasn't for those age restrictions.

Maybe you needed that, but it's not fair to apply it to every one else with just any decision that seems weird to you. Are you aware of the biology of trans identity?
