Well no, I'm not saying they don't serve them, but that nobody ordered any, therefore the idea that the reason they moved on was to try more exotic beers does not fly. The beers may be there, but they ain't trying them, so why bother?

It doesn't take long before living in a ****ty neighborhood loses its luster. Crime isn't easy to romanticize when you come home from work and your door has been kicked in. But if there's anything worse than that it's getting robbed every month now that the landlord has upped the rent.

What about if your landlord kicks in the door?

Seriously, I know: I live in an area that used to be notorious. I'd come home to a bunch of scumbags hanging around my door (we have an arch, being a four-bedroomed house, and that attracted all sorts of *******s) who would then proceed to kick my door, throw stones at it and wait for me to come out. Couldn't do anything so I just had to take it. Thought of moving out (this was long before Karen's illness of course) and went to see a place. That very night someone threw a rock through my window. I was this close to getting out. But that proved to be the turning point, as we called the cops and the ****s all stayed away in fear. After that it got quieter and now it's a really nice place. But like all areas, we've had our bad times.

After I got robbed I saw someone ****ing around my car through my window and targeted the laser sight from my .38 on him. He noticed it and moved on. I've pretty much carved out my space in this neighborhood but I don't push it much further than the route I walk my dog.
