I just rejected a part​y invite today. Pretty sure id I'd go I would talk for like 10 minutes and then stay quiet on a seat in the corner anyways. And hell, if it wasn't with just those people I'm used to by now, I'd get social anxeity as well.

I'm not really a party person. I'd rather hang out 1 on 1 or with 2 people I already know and like. And even that I only want on occasion, as I get exhausted by people rather quickly.

In parties I look for people like you off by themselves to strike up a convo with to make them feel included but if they want space. I leave them be.

The only time I find that it's good to talk to the random people at a party is to find who's trying to get ****ed up.

I always appriciate when people so that because they rarely do and Its very daunting for me to approach people. Plus I'm a pretty passive person in general.
