Musicians, Where do you see yourself in 5 yrs? (bass, vocalist)

Musicians, where do you see yourself in 5 yrs? Do you have a strategy, goals, a business plan toward success? And what would you call musical success? How are you planning on getting from your town to making a living at music? Or do you think it just takes luck?

I see myself fufilling my career in aerospace/mechanical engineering and playing guitar still.

I see myself in a semi-successful local band. (In five years I will only be 20) As the guitarist and perhaps vocalist.
