The new Om Unit mini-album. Wonderful future sounds.

Laurel Halo - Quarantine (2012)

Just what I expected from electronica label Hyperdub. Not bad, but not blowing me away, either.

I've just downloaded the entire Colundi Sequence by Aleksi Perala series in .Flac, and organized it all nice and purty. If you guys like mindbending minimal/ambient electronic music, I'll be happy to give you the entire 6 volumes of the series (so far).

PS. not my photo, I should have grabbed all of the volumes as they came out, but I was dumbed and only got Levels 1,2, and 3.

Fei-Fei - All Day I Dream EP (2014)

Resident Artist of the Month over at Music Ninja. Pretty good tracks!

Unknown Mortal Orchestra - II (Full Album) - YouTube

Not bad but the album sounds a bit too much like early Ween to really interest me beyond one listen.

iamamiwhoami - Blue (2014)

Just came out ten days ago. Pretty good synthpop out of Sweden. Nothing to blow me away, but nice nonetheless.

Azealia Banks - Broke with Expensive Taste (2014)

Uh. No. The music is great, if only she'd shut the frak up with her rapping.

Some 2010 re-visting:

Autechre - Move of Ten [EP] (2010)
48-minute EP hot on the heels of the Oversteps LP, which was a mostly beat-less affair. I like this one better.

Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma (2010)

Yeasayer - Odd Blood (2010)

Jaill - That's How We Burn (2010)
Ok so I loved the **** out of this in 2010 and maybe it's not quite as 9/10 good as I thought it was at the time. But it's still a fun and infectious surfy indie pop/rock record.

Women - Public Strain (2010)

Karsten Pflum - Slaphead Faun (2010)
A compilation of tracks recorded between 2002 and 2007 that never made it onto LPs and EPs. It plays like a really ****ing solid LP to me, better than what Autechre put out in 2010 (though stylistically it's far closer to Aphex Twin). I'm not sure the pets are enjoying it though. Too many bleeps and bloops.

These New Puritans - Hidden (2010)

Girls Names - You Should Know By Now (2010)

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Judas Priest - Angel of Retribution

I've been listening to Judas Priest all week because i'll be seeing them live this Saturday. This album in particular is way better than I remember. I forget the last time I heard it, but it's pretty damn good, and i'm hoping they play some of the tracks at the show.
