Default Rate/Review The Last Album You Bought/Downloaded

This is like that other thread, except cooler because you can actually hear sh*t about the album and it was made by me. It doesn't really have to be a review, but it can be more like say something about the album other then lol itsgood or sux.

The Twilight Sad "Fourteen Autumns And Fifteen Winters"

I havn't heard much like it probably because I don't listen to many bands along these lines. The music sort of reminds me of Snow Patrol? well the two songs i've heard, it kind of has that slow rocky feel to it, but thats probably a terrible comparison. I mainly got it because of the album title/band name were cool sounding. The music itself is good, I can picture chilling to it alot but the vocals put me off, its mainly the scottish accent that really annoys me. My favorite song was probably "That Summer, At Home I Had Become The Invisible Boy."

Which of the 30 free cds I got? har.

I'll review out from animals. It's actually a single but it was pretty good. I saw them live yesterday. And their music is a mixture between rock electro and some drum 'n bass. It sounds quite unoriginal. (Klaxons, hadouken, kubichek, you name it...) But this was something totally new. I also loves the voice of the singer. Check them out!

Neutral Milk Hotel- In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

Simply put, this album is spectacular. Jeff Mangum's vocals and lyrics are sensational on this album and they tie in really low with the general acoustic indie sound of the album. I wasn't sure what to expect from this album at such, as I purchased it without having ever listened to the band at all, and I'm glad that I did buy it. The only bad parts that I have found in the album is where the music starts to sound a bit weak in In the Aeroplane over the Sea, but other than that, the album manages to stay solid and well constructed.
As far as a rating goes: 4.25/5
