Released in 1973 with a huge fanfare and a massive 10 year contract he was supposed to be America's answer to David Bowie & Elton John. Recorded 2 albums that flopped and faded back into obscurity. Was one of the first people to die of AIDS in the early 80s. Morrissey is a big fan and wanted him to open for him on one of his American tours in the early 90s unaware he'd been dead for a decade.

They put out a rarities & demos collection last year called 'When The River Flows' which I need to check out too.

Have you listened to Girls in the Garage before? If you like She, you'll probably like that compilation as well. Also, there's a pretty good comp of the all-girl band Ace of Cups called "It's Bad For You, But Buy It!".
