I was feeling nostalgic so I put this on with the hope that I could be objective and enjoy it. Nupe. Still sounds like an identity crisis. Still sounds like Jesse Lacey burnt out and said "**** it then, you guys write the songs for once" and the result sounds like Isaac Brock sucking Tom Morello's dick.

Kruder & Dorfmeister - The G-Stoned EP (1993).

Quiet night to myself so I'm spinning a chronological survey of acid-based trip hop from these two gents.

I was lucky enough to pick up The K&D Sessions 3LP set this year... looking forward to giving it a spin tonight.

GoatSnake - Black Age Blues

probably should have waited for this before making any "best of" lists....great sludgey, doomy blues albums...i forgot how much i like Pete Stahl's vocal style

Baroness - Purple

hmmmm....i still can't get into this band....i've tried with every release and i just don't see the appeal....love their covers though
